derived subject
(GB). Именная группа, занявшая структурную позицию субъекта, но не несущая соответствующей тематической роли (например, пассивный субъект, субъект rising-verb, etc). То есть, перемещенная из позиции, где она получила тематическую роль в позицию, где ей может быть назначен структурный падеж.
